In addition to being a resource for law and entrepreneurship educators (as well as entrepreneurs) generally, the combination of the EshipLaw website and its related listserv, launched with support from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, constitute the central communications platform for a network of over 160 transactional and entrepreneurship clinics at U.S. law schools. Among other benefits of this strategic partnership is the ability to bring a multitude of network members into the Legal Technology Laboratory as part of a key test bed for new legal technologies and data gathering to promote entrepreneurial success.
The EshipLaw website (www.eshiplaw.org) features the following resources:
- Law Scholarship section with fully-indexed abstracts of articles (both scholarly and practical) dealing with a diverse set of entrepreneurship law topics.
- Links to a wide range of on-line resources designed to assist with identification of legal issues in entrepreneurial ventures and to facilitate access to related information, forms and legal assistance.
- For educators at educational institutions involved in entrepreneurship law programs, there are additional sections accessible through free registration.
- A searcheable database of Law School Entrepreneurship clinics in the United States.
- An active listserv and a growing community of more than 480 educators.
